Introducing
‘The Stig’
We had a lovely walk back and then the bosses who were a bit tired sat down and drank tea and coffee. They chatted to some strangers and I was patted on the head and stroked a few times. So the day was not a complete disaster. In fact it has been said that we will go back again in a couple of weeks. This time I think we will take my mum (Esme), I don’t think she will be disappointed as she likes everything
We live not too far away from a battlefield centre and as my mum (Esme) mentioned in her blog last week, we were going to this special place to incorporate one of my weekly walks. I was quite excited as I’ve never seen a battlefield before, neither has my mum (Esme) to this day, she is a bit jealous. Well we arrived and as you can see on the right I had to perform my show stand practice, it does not matter where I go, there are the bosses standing me up for all to ogle, it does get a little embarrassing even for me who does actually enjoy it !
Anyway we went for a walk along this canal thing, with water and ducks, now we have ducks on our lake so I know what they are. These ducks kept coming up on to the bank. Are they mad I thought ? It appears these ducks are fed bread by the people sitting drinking their tea and coffee. Do these people know what that does to a working Weimaraner ? The boss was working hard to stop me taking one home for my mum.
We carried on through some nice woodland and then we arrived at this ‘centre’. It was a bit of a disappointment as there were no soldiers in armour and no canons and stuff. Most of what you could see was behind closed doors and not much for dogs anyway.
So I said to my other mum (Elaine), I think the boss should be put in them ‘stocks’ things as punishment for building up my hopes about what it would be like. Elaine agreed and as she said to me, there are a few people that would like to see him in those.
